Scholar in Residence

A Christian scholar, T.C. Schmidt received his PhD from Yale University and is currently a visiting Fellow at Princeton University and an Associate Professor at Fairfield University. His publications concern topics such as the historical Jesus, the formation of the New Testament, the history of Christianity in Eastern contexts, and the origin of Christmas. Notably, Professor Schmidt has produced peer-reviewed translations from Latin, Greek, Syriac, and Arabic texts. His books have been published with Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, and others.
